The Migma Project sets itself apart with its noiseless, zero emissions design. Powered by hydrogen, this catamaran offers a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative for luxury sea travel. Its bionic elements and complex surfaces reflect the harmony between nature and technology, making it a living entity on the water.
The exterior structure of the Migma Catamaran is primarily made of Duralumin, with polymeric non-skid surfaces and noble beech wood accents. The use of electrochromatic smart glass adds a touch of elegance and functionality. Inside, the catamaran features Krion Solid Surface, marble, technical flooring, and Alcantara fabric, creating a luxurious and comfortable environment.
With dimensions of 26000mm in overall width, 56000mm in overall depth, and 17200mm in overall height, the Migma Catamaran offers ample space for various purposes. The central salon serves as the core of the boat, designed for business meetings and social gatherings. Two large luxury staterooms with ensuite heads provide a relaxing retreat, while a front electrochromatic smart glass wall offers panoramic views of the ocean.
The Migma Catamaran was developed by Ruma-Design SL in Madrid, Spain, from November 2019 to February 2020. The design process involved extensive research into the symbiosis between nature and technology, resulting in a structure that mimics the protective shells found in the natural world. Overcoming the challenges of breaking traditional yacht design rules, the Migma Catamaran offers a fresh perspective on space and weight distribution.
Recognized for its innovative and practical design, the Migma Catamaran received the Iron A' Design Award in the Yacht and Marine Vessels category in 2020. This prestigious award acknowledges the catamaran's integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and contribution to a better world.
With its unique blend of luxury, sustainability, and technological advancements, the Migma Catamaran sets a new standard for high-class sea travel. Its elegant design, powered by hydrogen, showcases the possibilities of combining nature and technology in a harmonious and environmentally conscious way.
